Notes
A main-campaign Milk Mustache ad. The magazines and dates it ran in are listed under Where it was published.
The Milk Mustache Book (1998, p. 54) gives the shoot as May 9, 1996, New York City. Banks flew in from London on the Concorde, went through the usual two to three hours of hair and makeup, passed over the studio catering and asked for a burger and fries. The ad was aimed at teenage girls. A second picture taken that day, in a yellow-gold string bikini, was judged too sexy for magazines like Seventeen and was put away; it later ran once, in the Sports Illustrated swimsuit issue.
