Ad text
Chocolate milk is a fun and nutritious treat for your kids and has all the vitamins and nutrients of regular milk.
Chuckie — Tommy, what's a vity-man? Tommy — Don't worry Chuckie, I think he's the one that puts the choklit in the milk. Angelica — Don't you dumb babies know anything? The vity-man makes sure all babies hand over their chocolate milk to ME!
Notes
MilkAdMan lists this in its main campaign series.
Milk Mustache Mania says the first Rugrats ad was based on the babies' first feature film, The Rugrats Movie, which was number one at the box office in its first week. The book says it worked well enough that a second ad was made, for The Rugrats in Paris (see the Rugrats in Paris record).
Milk Mustache Mania's photo and illustration credits page (p. 94) gives the Rugrats ™ to Viacom International Inc., says the characters were created by Arlene Klasky, Gabor Csupo and Paul Germain, and gives ©1998 & 2000 Paramount Pictures and Viacom International Inc.
Identification note
Tommy, Chuckie and Angelica. Cast/character identification cross-checked against the surviving campaign-reference roster.
