Milk mustache ad of University of South Carolina student Valerie Tate, from the campaign’s college tour, printed in the student newspaper. The copy begins “My bones will continue to grow until I’m 35. Yikes!” and it carries the “MILK. Where’s your mustache?” sign-off. Same series as the Brooks Flohr ad.
Campus student ads are also known from 1997: the Kansas State Collegian (September 9, 1997) and the UCLA Daily Bruin (April 23, 1997) each ran a student’s milk mustache portrait with the lines “I drink three cold ones a day, of milk that is.” They have their own entry here.
